The South Fork Community Radio, KAVZ LP 102.5 FM,
is a non-commercial, low-power fm radio station providing the community with the opportunity to hear and create a broad range of programming, with an emphasis on the celebration of local arts, history, culture, environment, youth involvement, and public safety.

KAVZ can be heard along the Mount Baker Highway from Nugents Corner up to Maple Falls, including Deming and Welcome, and down the South Fork Valley through Van Zandt, Acme, and parts of Wickersham.
It can also be heard at MBHS, the Nooksack Tribal Center, The Five Cedars, and the Rutsatz Housing Development.
